Every year on or around 22 September, people from around the world get together in the streets, intersections, and neighbourhood blocks to remind the world that we don’t have to accept our car-dominated society. On this special annual day Bikeventures and Cycling out of Poverty are happy to join the celebration of the FREEDOM OF CYCLING in Jinja, Uganda.

What?

We close a road in Jinja to allow children to ride their (or Bikeventures’) bicycles, skates or skate boards in a car free, safe environment, on a 1 kilometer long smooth stretch of asphalt. Where can you find that in Uganda?!

Please ask us for more information if you have any questions or would like more details. Please contact us on: uganda@ bikeventures.org or call or Whatsapp us on +256(0)778.366.007.

MORE THAN A BICYCLE ADVENTURE!
All profits are donated to the bicycle projects of Cycling out of Poverty Foundation
to support students, health care volunteers, farmers and small entrepreneurs in Uganda
